The second face-to-face meeting of LinkYou project partners was held at the Universidad de Piura, in Piura, Peru, on September 7 and 8, 2017. The members shared possible improvements to the Challenge Academy platform, worked in groups to discuss topics related to innovation and employability and they coordinated the next activities to be carried out.
Representatives of the partner entities of the project were present on the second meeting: Universidad ESAN, Fahsbender Consulting EIRL and Universidad de Piura (Peru); Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Lipomize and Universidad Austral (Argentina); Fundación Universidad-Empresa (Spain); University of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom); ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal); Fundación Universitaria Católica del Norte, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Corporación Interuniversitaria de Servicios (Colombia); and Maastricht University (Holland).
During the meeting, the members shared improvements to the new version of the Challenge Academy platform, based on the results of the surveys conducted to potential users in Latin American countries. In addition, the Communication plan and the Quality plan were presented to all the members in order to develop them during the next months.
Finally, the partners worked in groups to discuss topics related to innovation and employability. They also coordinated the future activities for the next workshop to be held in January in the United Kingdom.
LinkYou is a project funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission and its main objective is to disseminate and improve the academic crowdsourcing platform, Challenge Academy, among Latin American Higher Education Institutions. It aims to bring together public and private companies, students and teachers, both in Europe and Latin America, through an online platform that reduces physical distances and allows the exchange of ideas and the development of new partnerships.
Each institution from partner countries contribute with their knowledge about cooperation between companies and universities and potentiate the academic activity.
